Let’s be real: 2020 sucked. For those of us in lockdown, it's felt like an unrelenting cycle of wake, work from home, eat, and sleep. We’re all looking for some comfort. For some, that means putting on real clothes to start the day for a sense of normalcy, and to those of you that do: I applaud you. For others, like me, that means changing from my pajamas straight into sweatpants and then back again.
While we’re hopeful for good things to come in 2021, it make take a while before we get there. As we hold steady, we should surround ourselves with the comfort we crave. Most of us didn’t start the year with entire wardrobes of loungewear designed for working at home, so we might need to add in a couple pieces here and there. If you have the means, there’s no better time than now to support small, sustainable brands that care for the environment and provide work for craftsmen around the world.
To those who have been on the front lines, we can’t thank you deeply enough. And to everyone out in the world, we hope you can treat yourselves to something cozy when you return home at the end of the day.
